Master Proof was set up by Peikwan Simpson, alumna of the Universities of Nottingham and Leicester, to provide a high quality professional proofreading service. The service was initially aimed at students, with the original objective of helping international students with their English – but as the company expanded it became clear that all students (regardless of nationality) could benefit from the services of a professional proofreader. Master Proof now also offers proofreading and light copy-editing services to non-academic clients, such as authors and non-publishers, as well as a full copy-editorial service for traditional publishers and academic writers.
